One of the things I remember my dad telling me, when I was maybe 12, “you will always have bosses that are stupider then you. And that’s when you gotta suck it up and stick it out cause you will have bills to pay.” This was as we were driving to my first job in the center of Pacific Palisades Village. A small little dog grooming place. Who was paying a 12 year old under the table and times were really fucking different. What my dad told me stuck, firmly. It became the basis of why I stayed at so many horrific jobs with toxic boss’. This was a pattern I had to break and I was unaware that this was a pattern of mine. It became a part of my DNA that I had to unravel. I now look at interviews not as them interviewing me but a complete uno reverse. I’m seeing if I ACTUALLY want to be a part of this company and invest my skills and time. But that is not what we are here to discuss. We are here to spill a little tea, talk in allegedly. So pinkies up my dears, it’s dark.

Throughout my history with toxic men, toxic work environments, egos and money hungry assholes, it is the worst in drug and alcohol treatment centers. There are the money men, the secret and silent investors, the back door deals, the falsifying documents (allegedly), the brokering (allegedly), all just a small part of the bullshit that seeps from every pour of this horrific patterning. Don’t get me wrong, there are some AMAZING places out there who aren’t trying to make a fast buck, who actually care. They are out there but you have to do your research.

Families will often send their kids to programs just hoping to save them or to just have someone deal with them. This doesn’t mean people don’t deserve to be protected and helped to grow. So we take on the responsibility to not further use these humans that have had incredible trauma. So when a staff member, a figure head, a facilitator or anyone else, decides to prey on the humans in our care, it’s a never level of filth. People that have “daddy” issues, who are taken under someones wing and made to feel special and worth the time, yeah, they are going to go along with being groomed. They feel safe, finally, made to feel like they can breathe. Then these fucking men will sleep with, usually female presenting humans, clients with the full knowledge of their trauma history because they have full access to that clients THERAPIST NOTES…Imagine your trauma, your darkest secrets, are then used in a way to take advantage. This happens. Every. Single. Day. It becomes a joke in the halls that the staff talk about and how when a new female presenting human comes in, of a type, he is one them instantly. Even clients will openly talk about it.
